This week started with Waitangi Day which this mama forgot about as every day merges into one in my new job 😂 so it was a pleasant surprise when baby daddy got up with Kinsley and this mama got a sleep in 🙌🏻 Our baby girl is officially 3 months old!! So crazy to think shes a quarter way through her first year already! (This means I can start planning her first birthday right!? Hahahahha I already have ideas #typicalash) Its also crazy to love something so much that in 3 months you have captured aproximatley 234,354,874 photos ha - But I mean look at her 😍 how couldnt you #maybebiased
Turning 3 months old comes with more needles, another round of vaccinations which Kinsley still did immensely well with but now she is more alert and aware she definitely knew something just hurt her and took a little while longer to calm, same post routine as afterwards - Bang on 4 hours she feels like shit and screams the house down until she falls asleep exhausted, then 6 hours later the diarrhea from the oral rotovirus kicks in! Lots of napping and cuddles is then on the agenda and about 5 days of restless nights but not sleepless so pretty good really!! Kinsley also had to have silver nitrate applied to her belly button as a peice of umbilical cord tissue was left and its started to grow, we go back every week to see if we can stop it! Doesnt phase her at all but the doc isnt confident it will work so then it may mean little surgery 😭 #fingerscrossed
This week Kinsley had her first trip to the media life hot spot Odettes haha! This mama spent half her career here so it's only fitting Kinsley wines and dines there too 😅 The staff even came and met her since shes now put of the belly hehe! Kinsleys Odettes date was with Mama and Aunty Meeks good friend Pinny while he was back in NZ for a visit. We had a lovely morning with them both and bf baby Harry #scenester
I know every week I say this little girl is growing up too fast but its true so much changes in a week haha! This week was no different we had a few wee milestones - We ditched the capsule and upgraded to our big girls carseat 😳 she looks soooo grown up in it but is so much happier and comfy so we love the car again! 🙌🏻 We were super lucky and Oma and Opa got it for us and it's the amazing Britax click tight that will last her for a super long time (betime she needs a bigger one she will have a little brother or sister to give it too 🙈). She also now fits 3-6 month clothes eeeek so a few new things popping up in her wardrobe and others being put away! This means new bows to match also hahahah #obsessed Speaking of bows Kisnley decided mid sleep to pull hers down in her capsule when the sun went in her eyes so this mama and nana and poppa were cracking up 😂 and she still looked bloody cute ha!
Being Valentines soon Aunty Just Jess Cake Co was soooo busy with her valentines boxes so us girls went and worked at HQ with her to help ease the load (actually I dont think she would have finished without us haha). Kinsley slept on the job a bit though 😂 and also of course forced aunty to make her some cookies for her valentines photo (you wait till next week they are so flippin ADORABLE #icry)
Busy but super fun week (yes even with imms haha) were lucky enough to have nana and poppa with us all week wooooo!! Love having extra hands (especially for the poonamis hahahha) and company makes me feel like its holidays hehe! And always good for the soul with lots of love and laughter 🌼

Tips for the week:
- Take your or your childs favourite book and turn it into art that way it looks awesome and has a lot of meaning! This is what I have done for the nursery with kiwicorn which I adore and was one of Kinsleys first books! I love what it stands for and the values it portrays 💗🦄 added a pop of colour to her room too!
- Dont be afraid of getting a wax post partum (soz boys this may be TMI hahah) because it feels exactly the same - even after a tear and stitches down there! I was shitting myself before hand about it and even told the poor beautician I had just had a baby incase she was like wtf happened down there 😂😂 turns out we bounce back fast and its completely fine haha! God it felt great walking out of there, I never thought I would feel so good about an old mundane life task 😂🙌🏻
- Treasure bubbas time with their great grandparents if they are lucky enough to have them 🖤 its so special to be surrounded by so many generations, we love seeing ours and this week we got to see both yay! We did lunch with great grandad and had day hangs with little nana.
