Who would have thought two pink lines could change your life in an instant. As soon as they appeared I peed on another 3 sticks just to make sure and then as crazy as it sounds I was instantly in love with whatever was happening inside me. We did it, I was going to be a mama.. Proceeded by HOLEY SHIT its real and happening and Nic is at work so I'll just have to sit here and stare at these tests by myself incase they change haha.
Being as we had planned to bring this baby in the world I knew extremely early that I was pregnant, My cycle is like clock work and as soon as my period hadn't come the day it was due i opened that test packet.
That night I popped to the mall on my way home to pick up a super cute pair of baby chucks that match our big pairs to share the news with Nic - Left them with the test on the bed for when he went down there later that evening. When he strolled down there oblivious and put down the curtains all i heard from the couch was a "fuck off, babe, no way, actually?" followed by him carrying them down the hallway with a smile from ear to ear while I giggled and gave him a squeeze.
So our journey to Mama & Dadda starts here!
